Answer operational planning questions with optimization and simulation.

Decision support for production, logistics, and resource planning.

Typical questions we answer

  • Would another machine improve throughput?
  • Where is the actual bottleneck?
  • Can current capacity support projected demand?
  • How many operators are required?
  • Which jobs should be prioritized?
  • What is causing lateness?

What We Do

Operations Research
Optimization models for planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to support operational decision-making.

Constraint Programming
Models for complex scheduling and resource allocation problems with explicit constraints to evaluate feasible operational decisions and trade-offs.

Delivery
Reports, models, and optional lightweight tools to operationalize decisions.

About

Operational decisions are often made under uncertainty.

Capacity is added without knowing if it will remove bottlenecks. Schedules are adjusted without understanding the downstream effects. Resources are allocated based on intuition rather than quantified trade-offs.

Margaux Systems exists to reduce that uncertainty. We build operational models using operations research, constraint programming, and simulation to evaluate decisions before they are implemented. The goal is not to produce software, but to produce clarity: what will happen under different scenarios, and what trade-offs are actually involved.

This allows teams to validate plans, identify bottlenecks, and understand the consequences of operational changes before committing time, capital, or infrastructure.
